remember when Buca was just this simple little restaurant with a neat concept down on 12th street? Now it's like McBuca. I measure overfranchisization by the number of times a place is recommended to me by hotel staff. Buca is getting close to saturation by that standard. Do I really need to eat the same food in San Diego, Garden Grove CA and West Des Moines Iowa?

At least Buca food is decent. Rainforest Cafes are starting to crop up all over, and anything more than one of those is too much. Too many squawking parrots for me.
